What type of sites can I have hosted?
You are welcome to host small business, personal or informational sites on our servers. You cannot host any content which is illegal in nature, offensive, or pornographic (determined at our sole discretion.) Failure to abide by this will result in immediate termination of services with all outstanding balances payable immediately in full and deemed non-refundable.
What about advertising?
Once your site is up and running, search engines will naturally find it. This process takes time, so be patient! There are several things you can do to help your site be discovered and ranked higher. While Vision North can create an image and brand identity for you, you are responsible for actually bringing this image and brand to the public.
When am I billed?
Invoices are issued annually for all hosting packages. For accounts set up in the first half of a year, your first invoice will be inclusive of the remainder of the calendar year and will then occur each January after that. For accounts set up in the last half of a year, your first invoice will include the remainder of that calendar year plus the following calendar year. For example, if you set up your account in March, your first invoice will cover 10 months. If you set up your account in October, your first invoice will cover 15 months. Note that invoices for all other services are issued monthly.
What about my personal information?
Your personal information is just that - personal. We will not share, sell or distribute your information in any way to any party without your consent. It's that simple.
